Communicating the original scenery of Japan to foreigners.

The other day, a friend of mine when I was a student came to visit me.
He grew up in England and then came to Japan to work.
I took him to an inn in Saitama prefecture so that he could see the original scenery of Japan.
He was very impressed and pleased with the appearance of the thatched roof that he had just started.
